Rebuilding of the water pump, there are lots of critical measurement that must be taken

   

In the first picture I am checking the clearance of the impeller to the casting, it needs to be .025 to .030

second picture is the overall length, this is to make sure the pulley lines up correctly

   

 

Old wood dash always cracks on lotus cars and that GM Trans Am wheel has to go. The wood was all striped primed and painted with a dark gray hamitie enamel. The steering wheel which requires a special custom made hub adapter is a MOMO wheel along with Pedals and shift Knob

Factory Iron manifolds almost always have cracks in them after even 20,000 miles, It is mainly due to the low grade iron that was used.

This is the New 304 Stainless steel header that I built. It has a 1/2 thick flange

 

The Lotus engine does not produce enough vacuum to run all the accessories so all lotus's run a belt driven Vacuum pump (later years had a electrical pump. this is a new updated unit that exhaust with in  itself which makes it run quieter.

Stock Lotus turbo, Note that the Turbine side is lotus specific and very hard to find, this one worked fine but did have cracks in it so I am going to a more "off the shelve" Ford style turbine side that way future modifications will be alot easier.

Main injectors (4)

left is stock GM Rochester injectors, right injector is Bosch ford injector E5ZE, the injectors are being changed as the flow and the ideal is better with the Bosch units.

Secondary injectors (2)

Injector on the left is the new Bosch injector and on the right is the stock GM Rochester,

The 2 secondary injectors start working at high Boost and RPM

this is the spark plugs before the new injectors and a new O2 sensor.
